    Downhill

I live in the Hudson valley, Poughkeepsie/Beacon area to be exact.

I'm looking for a downhill riding buddy.

Last year was my first season so I'm not a pro but its not my first time on a bike either. I want someone to go to mountain creek and plattekill with.

Don't really care I it's a meet there or a carpool type thing. I just don't want to ride alone an possibly get hurt alone.

    Come ride with me?!

Plattekill is great for downhilling and the new Mt. Creek should be fun too this year. There is more downhilling further up north in NY too. The Whiteface Mountain Bike Park offers big mountain riding on the east coast! Whiteface is approx. 3 or so hours from Poughkeepsie and maybe 30 or 40 minutes off the interstate.
Let me know if you need any more information on Whiteface. Being a private business our website is: Whiteface Mountain Bike Park - Home

Hope to see you at The Face!

Taking a big crew of varying skill levels to Mountain Creek on May 5th (their opening day). Let me know if you wanna join; I generally show everyone 1 or 2 easy runs then split off into smaller groups according to speed and taste.

I don't think I'll be able to go opening weekend as much as I want to. I'm doing the 5 boro bike tour with my girlfriend and mom on the 6th. I also think due to everything they've done to spruce the trails up, the 5th will be packed! I will be there the weekend after though.
