Blue Mountain- no one leaf blowing?

I just went down there yesterday & the conditions were miserable. It appears that no one has done any leaf blowing at all. Is this frowned upon for some reason over there? Just curious as I would not mind spending a few hours blowing leaves in order to have premium trails to ride.

Here's what David Delucia Director of Operations and Facilities
Westchester County Parks Department=land manager has to say:
"please do not rake or remove leaves from any trail in the park system. Leaves are important." and I AGREE, just deal with it they will be gone soon enough.

It doesn't happen that fast, but Blue usually get enough traffic that they get packed down and crunched up.

What's great about the leaves is that when you do have damp/wet conditions it allows you to ride on top of the leaf cover, while the trail surface is basically un-effected. Smooths out some of the terrain for us rigid riders, too!

At times that nice clear path through the leaves can be so helpful. Especially on a generally "unmarked" park. But, the leaves will breakdown over time and that will help the sustainability of the trail. So, its just one of those special challenges of Fall riding.
