    Anything dry "close" to Syracuse?

All my local trails are wet and feel the need for some dirt, plus need to keep doing training rides with my b.i.k.e. Syracuse kids for their upcoming races.

Are any dry trails near Syracuse or at a reasonable distance (~2hr drive)?

Thompson park in Watertown- call one of the two LBS for more info. I live way up north and I've been riding the crap out of the trails in Colton, call Wear On Earth in Potsdam for info on those if you'd like to make that much of a haul.

My son along with his team will be going to Watertown tonight to ride with some folks from Fort Drum as part of their training, hopefully the weather will cooperate so I can ride those trails on Sunday.

    Anything dry "close" to Syracuse?

I'll be riding near the Brookfield Fairgrounds tonight. From what I've heard, the single track isn't bad, but there are a few sections that are on horse/wheeler trails that are wet.

The only thing dry near Syracuse is Orwell.

Tiny Oswego County town of Orwell remains alcohol-free | syracuse.com
I'd hit it, but I bruise like a peach.

You got me going for a while, needed that.

Today's ride in Watertown was also cancelled, the kids are doing road instead but still wonder if this weather holds if the trails will be ready to ride on Sunday.

Oneonta is in good shape. less than 2 hours away. I'm free to ride all day sunday after noon if you'd like to get shown around. We're doing trail work from 9 - 12 Sunday morning, then I plan on riding for a few hours after. You're more than welcome to join in for any or all of it.
