    Stewart Airport/MTA?

    Anybody know where I can get a map of the trails at Stewart Airport. I'd like to check it out this year but don't know any of them and I'm not too fond of gettin lost. thanks for some help

    I've been there once and loved it. The problem is the 2 hr drive each way.

    Go in there and explore. If you are afraid of getting lost (which is very possible in this trail), then you should get a GPS with a bike mount. It will get you to your car when you need to and you can map out the trails in the woods. Have fun!

    The 6th annual Stewart Buffer Bike Tour

    On Sunday, June 12th, SPARC is hosting the 6th annual Bike the
    Buffer Tour at the Stewart State Forest (aka Stewart Buffer
    This will be a day when mountain bike enthusiasts from beginner
    to advanced can join together for fun, and at the same time,
    support various local charities. This year SPARC will be making a
    contribution to the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
    There will be three entry classes: Beginner/Family, 9 miles;
    Intermediate/Experienced, 16 miles; Advanced/Experienced, 18
    miles. Lunch is included and those who pre-register will receive
    free T-shirts. Trail maps will be provided.
    The Buffer Lands are a self-contained public open space area
    (7,000 acres) with numerous country roads and beautiful vistas,
    all closed to road traffic, perfect for the whole family. It is a
    gem for off-road biking and listed in many biking publications.
    If you haven't experienced the Buffer Lands, now is the time.
