This past Friday, I went to Cushetunk Mountain Nature Preserve with my uncle, and I started to go on the trail that goes directly from the parking lot to the top of Cushetunk Mountain. It's the trail in the County Park that is closed from January to August because of the bald eagles nesting at the top of the mountain. I only got about 300 to 500 feet down the trail, and it started raining hard, so I decided to turn back and come back perhaps this Wednesday or Friday. From where I was before I turned around, I could see that the trail gets really steep ahead. I doubt I would be able to make it to the top of that climb!
