Planning on riding with a member of LOCO (Louisiana Off-road Cycling Org) at White Mesa Thurs morning. Thinking about 8AM-ish...

No problem at all.. All the chatter is helpful.

So, do you think WM will *not* be rideable by tomorrow morning??

If it's not, what's a good alternative? Hate for my homie to detour all the way down here for nada..

As stated, Otero or the East Mtn area will be prime later today/tomorrow. WM, could still be sloppy in places.

Otero would normally be a 'no go' after significant rain, but the trail has really firmed up lately.

Gottcha. Dang it.. I talked him into staying in Bernaillo, riding WM then hitting I-40 at the Big I, instead of his plan to stay in SFe, ride Dale Ball then take Hwy 14 thru Madrid to I-40.

If WM is off the table, then I can try to get a hold of him to stick to Hwy 14 (or whatevere it is now) and stay at a hotel around Tramway. That would be better for Otero.

I'd rather stick to WM and risk a little slop, but, if it's going to be a suckfest out there, then I'll abandon that idea. You guys know the trails best, so what would y'all do if you were me?

Kind of depende on how the rain plays out today. If it goes as predicted, prob wont be good out there. But you know the weather man is always sopt on. If it rains overnight tonight, both will be a mess

Wow... I really love NM! Why did I wait so long to come back?

    The Ride
Temp was 50, rain was all around us when we started, hence the rainbow... as we rode the rainbow stared getting closer and closer which meant the rain that was with it was too... we got pelleted with a little shower, and some wind, but other than that it was a fantastic ride.

Wish I had gotten more pix, but Scooter isnt one to dally about when there is hills to climb up...

    Saturday

Reffing soccer all day tomorrow. I will be down Tuesday, all day Thursday and all day Friday this week. Riding in Taos Sunday. Thanks for keeping me in mind.

I am surprised you are not in AF this weekend with that fancy new bike.
