I liked that as well. It looks like the skull is watching the trail, lol. I had to watch it again to make sure I knew what view.

LOL...Jhazard, we must be close in age. I loved this movie for the bikes but even back then I thought how cheesy is was. We rode but we never wore those kind of outfits. Maybe jeans and an old Godfather's Pizza t-shirt.
    But cool old school.

Those outfits were hard to come by because they were still made here in the good ole USA.

Lol, for sure. We were riding doing the same tricks, but were more jeans and t-shirt types for sure. The movie was completely horrendous, but was cool to see the magazine heroes on the big screen.

For sure, Remy (?) was on a mission. And that is a sick course, love steep lines like that. Stoked to Sam up there too, hope he does well this season.

I watched it too. Its cool seeing the lines the riders are takeing get progesivly harder as the race goes on..... i would have been disapointed if gee won without taking the gnarly straight line at the bottem.

That straight option was pretty nuts.. I wonder if Gee meant to hit it, but got hung up on something - they showed a clip of him coming unclipped right at the top.

Just riding that course would be insane, can't imagine trying to pin it...

One of the better Green River edits I've seen, fresh perspective on the landscape and lines.

I just started doing Q pipes and half pipes when i got my drivers license and lost interest. I completely regret not sticking with it now. Now i'm wanting to do downhill, but nowhere in Alb to actually do it that i know of.

I just watch parts of on youtube from time to time!

cars were the key to exploring new street spots and new ramps that other people built, lol (and girls, of course). Stayed with it well in to my (late 20's - 45 now). Still can to a couple old school things, but most of it is lost, except the feel for jumps.

Angelfire and Pajarito are not far, and you can rent bikes at Angelfire to give DH a try. You might be surprised how many downhill riders are lurking in ABQ

I've got a 2011 Giant X4 that i would probably use until i get my AC-1 ready to ride. The only thing that sucks is that my Trance is a size Small and it's pretty hard on me trying to ride it. I'd like to trade it off for something in a Medium...probably just an actual hardtail MTB to ride. I'll eventually use my AC-1 for DH.
