New question here. Weekday Morning XC Riders?

Looking to ride some XC style dirt on several weekday mornings thru Oct 16th. Looking to stay close(ish) to Alb for the most part.

Anyone gonna be out & about?

I haven't decided what to bring yet, sort of depends on which bike gets some much needed maintenance. You pick where to ride, I don't know ABQ all that well and you have been away for a while.

The Foothills is always fun.. I generally park at Elena Gallegos and ride from there.. however, I havent been on the trails south of Copper.

I'm free a few weekdays next week and the week after that. Good timing.
See the trails, be one with FOO-MTB.

I want to ride early, then hit up the Satellite Coffee or Frontier or someplace for a post ride munch..

I'm not quite sure if this fits your ride profile, but I'm willing to show you some some sweet stuff that I stumbled upon....

Just tell me when and where, I will be there, I like all of what I have ridden in ABQ, even Bryan's stuff, but I am partial to about 200 yards that I can't seem to clear.

Maybe me can get Bryan into some spandex. Now that would be an adventure.

We will check it out. Cant wait to see what you did with it. Hope you didn't XC it too much, I have been having dreams about that first rock something about me smashing it to little bits with a giant jack hammer to show it who was boss.

I need to get some armor and a lot more confidence.. I will work on it though.

Looks pretty damn green too! Has NM been getting some serious rain or something??

I usually ride to EG from the house. Get there 8:30 ish. head north form there and then back. If you have the south end in mind then it's Menaul or Indian School. Good stuff either way. Getting back to your car is a little easier doing the north end. I'll be at EG 8:30 ish. Blue Blur and dark jersey. Bruce

I can be there at 8:30. Do you mean the trailhead at the top of spain? Or the picnic area? I have the single speed. Any idea of ride time? We only have one car down here so I need to have some sort of plan.

Sounds like the EG Picnic area to me. I'll be there at 8:30.. I suppose I can bring my singlespeed too... 32:19 seems to work fine up there.

I'll pm you my cell # in case I over sleep.. 15 hr drive is a killer.
