    South Foothills Session

A few of us took a break from the daily grind and explored a bit in the South Foothils. A few 'new' lines, some variations, and the tried and true were were on the menu.

    A few pics from A-Line:

None of us got it the first try....and the consequence?

I managed to hit a sweet spot

After a few stabs, The Sac found his groove.

Even taking the drop at the bottom

Supra came in so hot that I barely got off two shots

    pcupach with a superman impersonation

    Too funny!

Same section with a little more style

    Here is something new

    Ricky on the Copper Drop

...and another 'new' feature. Can you guess where it is?

Couple of gifs of the new rollers to come...

Nice! Paul's leg looks like ground Beef! I was hoping you had a better angle from the new drop. I'm calling it 'needle and thread'. Due to the copious amount of cactus and the threading of the two boulders in the landing zone.

    Ground up OTB

Im doing alright dont worry about me...Im Superman!
Sometimes big wheels wont make up for my lack of skills...although I made up for my lack of AMFR skills by leading the climb...(although Im sure you all could have crushed me in a second if you wanted to)
BTW On my way home I get a call about my HD for sale...They said they would be at the house at 6 they didnt show till 730 had to wait till 8 to wash the leg off...I just waited around and finished off the beers in the cooler and asked if they wanted one (not a good selling technique)...Although they liked the bike...duh its a HD

As for the SFH...Now that I know what Im getting into Im going to go again till I get it right!!
As the winter months start to creep in Im sure we will be out there more.
    That aint no XC stuff!
    Thats AMFROTB
At first I couldnt believe you jumped off /over/onto some of that stuff...then I realized ...Your a bunch of Bandoleros of course youll do it.

BTW 123...Our little XC ride cost me another tube damn cactus needles
So dont make fun of the fanny pack

Now you will be able to fund your new DW Turner!

Start carrying (1) tube and patches. It takes a few more minutes, for some, to patch a tube and then you only have to carry (1) xtra tube. Slime tubes are more for XC (foothills) and are not really practical for what you are doing.

    Slime

    Im not using slime JA
I have patches and a tube....In case you forgot already I keep getting flats and I dont want to slow the ride down for everyone else...so Ill carry 2 tubes.
Really its not the tubes that prevent me from jumping all the crazy stuff its the.....uh....uh....uh....XC brakes.....uh...uh...uh....4.5 inches of rear travel.....uh...uh...uh pedals.....uh...uh...uh.....ride computer.......ya thats it

Sometimes I think I should have continued my cagefighting career...its easier than keeping up with the Bandoleros!

Looks like the today is going to be windy and raining soon...Ive got a ton of work to do before it hits...

You will notice...Im not wearing any of that SISSY armor like the rest of the crew!
    Im going COMMANDO
If you go COMMANDO you got to expect some mechanical failures to happen and there will be BLOOD.

How are you feeling today "Big Belly Boy"?

Switch to stans and get on with it. Tubes = Flats.
