Great video and awesome looking trail!!!

I'll be in Albq on Tuesday for work through Thursday. Is this open and dry now? Would anyone like to show a NooB to the area around? I'll climb to the goods and love this type of stuff. I'm on a SB-66.

PM if anyone is interested in riding Tuesday. I can leave Durango pretty much anytime Tuesday morning.

    I'd be down for that.

The uploading to a site sorta makes sense, but they end up getting transcoded too many times and loose quality. Unless it was just the raw files uploaded to an ftp or something... I'll just bring my lappy next time

It's amazing how poorly steep comes across in videos. A-line looks like a walk in the park on video.

I do my best not to put secret stuff in videos. I think the attention cause by the rock baron increased blm attention.

Where is this stuff!?!? It looks awesome!

I've done quite a bit of riding out there, and all I can find are smooth, boring xc trails, and crappy, loose "freeride" lines that go straight down.

I live like 5 minutes from the Copper Parking area, so I can get there pretty easy. I can do pretty much any afternoon next week after 3pm.

I'm only riding a 29er hardtail right now, but I have it dialed, and I push it pretty hard. I'm not doing any big drops or anything, but I ride the most technical stuff I can find in the East Mtns.

I'm gonna get a big bike next spring (looking at Trek Fuel EX/Remedy/Slash). In the meantime I'm trying to get a feel of what's around to help me decide which bike to get.

If you could just point out some of the cool technical stuff, I may not ride it right away, but it gives me something to work on. And my fitness is very good, so don't worry about me slowing you down.

    THANKS!
