    Riding Near the Brazos?

Anyone ever ridden up near the Brazos Cliffs? (SE of Chama, E of TA).

I'll be up there car-camping with some family this w/e and thinking about bringing my bike.

    Wilderness designation?

    thanks

yes i'm aware of the rules of the Wilderness Act.

That's why I'm asking. I'm sure there are plenty of trails up there, but if they're Wilderness than i'm skrewed.

so. my "Wilderness designation?" question wasn't clear enough:

Is the area near the Brazos Peaks/Brazos Cliffs a Federally Designated Wilderness Area? I can't find any info online and my TOPO! program is on my old PC, and now I'm on a mac.

    thanks

I was out that way today...sure is pretty country. Saw a trailhead off of Hwy 84 North of Abique. I will try to pinpoint its location on some FS maps that I have. I meant to get some coordinates on the way back ( and pics ) but it turned out to be a long day.

Here are a couple of shots that I took from the truck. Maka sure is right! We need to be heading North...SOON!

Yeah I dont ride nearly enough, and there aren't nearly enough things to ride on this side of the valley. I am such a slacker.

    Frazier anyone??
