    New question here. Ride Check

So first weekend with no sandias and no santa fe forest options

Just curious where every one rode

Did you keep it real in the foot hills, look for shade in the bosque,
cook in white mesa? Do you live in Gallup and dont concern yourself with such closures? Did you drive like an idiot 6 hrs to ride 7 in angel fire?

post pics if you got em! Its 2013 I don't wana read if I dont have to.

    Me Angel Fire

(i changed the song in the video to somthing less offensive so it might not fit. If your curry what the original was its on my youtube page)

either way angle fire was awesome what about your rides???

    Crested Butte

FINALLY got to actually ride Crested Butte instead of race DH. This weekend I rode with my familly and some Tuffriders while other's duked it out at the Enduro race. XC at Crested Butte is AMAZING! We also got a few DH runs in for Free Ride Friday evening. Here's a few from the weekend:

Tony's (also did Snodgrass and Lupin on that ride):

Dr's Park (best freakin DH anywhere!)

It was Bike Week so the locals were doing a 24 hr charity race (that's a dude ):

Yeah, Drs' Park is one of the top 5 rides I've ever done. But how did you make the creek crossing this early in the year? I rode it in the fall and it was still up to my knees.

Two days at Trestle for me. First time there, but I'll be back. Fun times, but no pics. I no longer suck at tabletops after doing laps on Rainmaker.

Joe, glad to hear you rode Trestle. I love Rainmaker, I think of one trick I want to learn at the top and usually have it dialed by the time I get to the bottom. Only hard thing is that you feel like you've been riding a gigantic pump track for 20 minutes straight.

Just take your socks and shoes off and prepare to freeze your feet. It wasn't that deep though:

    Angel Fire for DH yesterday.
On the way to Los Alamos to ride the county trails today.

I have to say, my favorite ride this week was the Wednesday night ride with the Broken Spoke Bike Shop crew at La Tierra. There were 15 riders and the light show was spectacular. It was a party on wheels. I think I'm going to make Frito pies for everybody for this week's post- Wednesday night ride grub.

I went up and checked out Northside at Taos Ski Valley this weekend. Here are some pics!

I had to make a "tarp garage" for the bikes. Got hit with some really good rain the whole time I was there!

    Sick meadow!

    Singletrack was pretty awesome too...

But the Views! That was the best part....besides the coming back down!

And I tried playing with the panoramic feature on my phone...

Los Alamos County trails: Los Alamos County Trail Network

Too many trail names, sections and questionable whereabouts to name. Been up there 2 weekends in a row. The town trails have more good singletrack than you'll find in half of the national forests. Super tech, great flow, freeride lines, burly climbs, awesome scenery, etc. Get the map from the county and hit it!

I see there's quite a number of trailheads. Can you tell me which one you parked at?

The first time, we parked at the high school and started in Acid Canyon > Walnut Canyon Rim > Woodland > Bayo Canyon > then rode the streets to Parimiter Trail. We were run off Perimeter trail from lightning, so the next week we went back we rode Perimiter first, before the afternoon storms So that we could ride the higher, exposed terrain early & ride the canyons in the afternoon, when the storms come in.

This past weekend, we parked at the Perimiter Trailhead on Ridgeway St. We essentially did most of the same trails in different order, but from Bayo Canyon, we took Pueblo Canyon > Tent Rocks > Zipline > LA Mesa > Pueblo Canyon Rim > S. Pueblo Bench.

Pueblo Canyon Rim is amazing scenery. Hope that helps.
