    Pine/Oak Flat

I have got a lot of help from looking over the forums over the last year and a half since I moved to ABQ. I am in search for some new trails to ride other than Tunnel/Otero/Mars Court and Cedro areas. I have been looking at the map that the Ranger Station provides for more trails.

My main question is are the trails down in the Pine/Oak Flat area worth riding and if so what would be a good loop? I really enjoy the other areas I have mentioned and am hoping to find more like it.

    Thanks!

I've ridden oak/pine a few times related to racing and prep. Fun enuf mostly fast and flowy. Not as fun as otero or even cedro, for me anyway. Good loop: clockwise from oak flat PL. oak flat connector-pine loop-gamble oak-poker chip-road-mahogany. Mahogany is a bit lame doubletrackish. Rest is nice singletrack.

MTB ABQ, thanks for the reply! Doesn't sound like it is much my style, however I try not to turn down "new to me" singletrack. I have just about exhausted the singletrack I usually ride training for Dawn Til Dusk and need a change of pace.
