I think I posted this before but here's the main race website: Pajarito Punishment 2014

This year we'll be part of the new Central States Cup and will also be the NM State Downhill Championship race so we're expecting a big turnout.

This year's course is going to be a blast! We've been working hard on it and getting all the other trails ready for Summerfest.

Glad to see that mountain and trail volunteers getting some of the recognition they well deserve.

    Trailwork tonight
Meet at 5:30 at the ski base parking lot, will be happening most Wednesdays. Cutting trees, shaping berms, raking off debris, cutting trail bench and shaping jumps. Trails for all abilities are worked on and will be available for all to use if volunteers get enough done.

That section on Muy Loco is gonna make or "brake" a lot of folks. Looks good! Can't wait to check it out later this summer.

Finished tightening up the course tape last night. Not making mistakes will be the name of the game on what will be a steep and loose course but w some fast sections at the top. No road gap this year (whole new course) and the rock garden is easy if you take the safer and perhaps faster route. The two jumps at the end are long and w/o knuckles, so a great finish. How well can you brake and not blow corners? I wish there was more of a fitness component myself (for my own results, not a complaint), but it is basically a brake or don't brake course.

What an awesome race. Congrats and props to all the racers, it was not an easy course, but it was super fun. Thanks to Neal and all the other organizer for putting on a killer event.

Nice run, Hazard! The course looked dusty and loose < -- not my favorite conditions.

I thought you were just making a statement with the number plate.

How did it go? I saw the vid from jerryhazard looked fun.

Did you and RCC end up racing? I wanted to go to help out but my car has some issues right now. Just ended up staying back and checking the FB updates.

    Was you number plate OK?
