    Pajarito 2013 Summer Chairlift Ops

Just looked at the website and didn't see any chairlift days scheduled for summer 2013. Does anyone know if Paj has plans to operate this summer outside of Summer Fest and Ullr Fest?
    Neal, have you heard anything?

From the email I got this week asking if I wanted to be on patrol again:
"It looks like the general schedule will be every other Saturday, June through Septmeber - specific dates yet to be determined."

Dang, looks like it's either SummerFest or Angel Fire Enduro.

Planning to head up for Summer Fest and was checking out the site, which appears to be up to date. I noticed that the DH/FR trails included both Chupacabra and Natural Selection! Have these been rehab'd and re-opened? If so, that's sick!

We're going to start working Chupacabra tonight and we'll look at Natural Selection after that. Don't know if either will be ready by Summer Fest. The hardest part will be rebuilding the jumps that had log fills and burned in the fire. We'll probably have to do the same but we can't use chainsaws until fire conditions improve.

Everything else has been cleared and is in great shape. We completed the new flowy DH trail that goes between Muy Loco and Bonecrusher meeting up with Muy Loco just above the rock garden.

Our trails need to be ridden more than anything else right now. Summer Fest will be a blast this year!

Thanks, Neal! It's great to hear Natural Selection is due for a revival. I really miss those big rock drop-ins. See ya at Summer Fest!

With so many of the typical DH guys headed to Angel Fire to race the enduro, the lift lines should be a bit shorter this year. That will be nice for us riders, but bad for Pajarito Mountain. Can't wait to ride the best true freeride mountain in the Southwest!

    Black Boogers

We had a good crew tonight and Chupacabra is quickly wipping back into shape. We got the first half at least roughed in with jumps shaping up well. That soot is kind of gnarly to work in.

Good deal, I really look forward to summerfest this year. Last year on a XC HT didn't make much sense.
