Thats the expectation. Saturday it was still muddy. But Saturday should be good. Its probably a good idea to get your riding in now before it gets locked up.

From what I'm told. there is still plenty of muddy stretches in Otero as of yesterday. So I wouldn't count on great conditions. Earlier the better. There are some good dry stretches in sunny areas up on top.

Areas around David Canyon are in pretty good shape. 3-Bottles had a little mud but not bad. Otero has more mud than anywhere I rode today. Some spots were pretty bad. West ridge and Tunnel are in great shape. Dry and fast. Otero needs more time.

Drop In was pretty "clumpy" and the top of Gnasty was also wet. Bottom of Tio Juanito was a little moist. Very top of Birdhouse also muddy... anything north facing up high with snow... other than that it seemed OK. I'd say by next weekend all should be pretty good to go!

Good to go. No moisture over night here. Rode through Three bottles yesterday afternoon and lots of hero dirt.

No rain and I left at 3pm. Did see a few snow flurries. Some damp (not muddy) spots at the top of Birdhouse. Conditions on Gnasty and DropIn were extraordinary! Have fun.
Got religion? I am happy for you, however please keep it to yourself..thanks!

Heh, yeah I got stuck out there in some of that around 4pm. It was hailing pretty hard for a bit, then turned into rain. It also got cold as hell pretty quick. Had to start braking with my middle fingers cause my index fingers were numb! Quite an interesting ride! Maybe that's why Lynn was telling me to carry a hard shell....

I am actually happy to see it get some moisture after what I saw yesterday. It was dry dry dry. The wind was blowing the dust down the trail big time. If it can get a little moisture every 1-2 weeks it will be for the greater good.

Any word on how things look out there for this weekend? Did yesterday's..."event" put down enough moisture that we should avoid it for this weekend or is it good to go?
