    Otero Canyon in winter

    Okay not EXACTLY in winter...

When my friend and I come home to albuquerque for thanksgiving (from college) we want to hit otero canyon cuz we've never been. Is that area still rideable come late November?

    Thanks in advance!

You can usually ride Otero a week or two past Thanksgiving.

Cool thread! I definitely need to ride white mesa too one of these days. May save it for Christmas break cuz I doubt the east mountains will be rideable in the winter.

Man I miss NM! All this stuff around Lubbock, TX (I go to Texas tech) is nothing compared to even the abq foothills...

Looks like it's rideable - unless it got dusted with this morning's snow... we got a few flakes here in ABQ
