    Maybe remove the hardware that cradles the front wheel and straps the back one in. Bolt on a piece of aluminum channel or PVC to cradle the tires? Check out these links:

    It has a nice little internal divider, and the back cavity seems to fit three 1-pint cans nice and secure

    I've been doing some research & looking at my options and came across this bike from a shop that I've done business with in the past (bought a couple of Titus Exogrid 29rs from Ben). I'm looking for a geared Moonlander but thought I'd drop a pic and link here just in case someone might be interested in it:

    I've been debating too: Fatty or studded tires. Love the colors and the steel but the drop bars gotta go.

    Got to sample a Surly Necromancer at TwoWheel Dr this morning. It was one size too small for me, but I was able to get the feel of the fatties.

    I have a pugsley surly, have had it since September. It has made me a much stronger and happier rider!
    And it's only been in the snow twice.

    Havin a blast out here just outside of Gallup. We have a two mile loop out the back door on a ridge and it is fun as all get out to be the first one out on some freshies. Blasting through the drifts brings a smile from ear to ear.

    I can't wait to join the fat bikes culture.. I've located a Moonlander in my size and adding a Bud/Lou tire combo and bigger rotors. I'll be keeping the stock Big Fat Larrys as backups tires.

    Let's see - here in Las Cruces, I've got 2 fatbikes;

    A Fatback, 3x9 gears, 100mm width rims, a Lefty, and SkinnyLarry rear/BigFatLarry front tires.


    And a Moonlander, S3X 3spd fixed hub, MWOD crankset/rings, 100mm rims, BFL front, Lou rear (not in pic)


    I spec'ed my Fatback out for maximum flotation - something to cruise arroyos with was the plan. That got me 100mm rims back before you could get bigger than 3.7 tires, but it helped anyways. My riding buddy got a Pugsley (complete), and I could out ride him in the soft stuff when the only difference was 100 vs 65mm rims. Then I got my hands on BigFat Larry! This tire will fit the back of the Fatback on the 100mm rim - but you're gonna kiss your first three cogs of the cassette goodbye with a standard crank in granny gear.

    Then I built the Moonlander - then my buddy bought a Moonlander (complete). It is sooooooo nice to have the fattest tires on the fattest rims. I still cruise the arroyos on the Fatback when I'm exploring, or just want more gears - but the Moonie is easier to ride except for the lack of super low gears.

    I recently picked up a Lou (4.8" knobby!) for the Moonie, and I have to say it is a better tire than the BFL. Climbing hills while standing is now noticeably easier, and even arroyo cruise is a bit easier - I must have been slipping the tire more than I thought.

    So - you already got the bug. You rode a fatbike and loved it. My experience says get the fattest rims and tires you can. Right now, that's a Moonlander. BFL's are good, but Lou is better - gonna try a Bud front when I can. Also going to put either a Nate or a Lou on the Fatback. That may require offset double crankset rather than a triple.

    I can go into more detail if you're planning on building up a frameset, but that's the basics.

    Yep, split tube method on the large marge rims. Just set up a friends clownshoes tubeless yesterday. Remove tire/toob >
    lay down gorilla tape (took three wraps, outside, outside, middle) >
    punch hole for stem >
    replace toob and tire>
    air up to 30psi and let sit so the adhesive adheres to the rim strip/rim >
    remove toob >
    install presta core >
    add 5-6 scoops of stan's >
    wrap a cinch strap all the way around the center of the tire and tighten >
    air up with a compressor to seat the bead @ 25psi >
    let sit over night >
    drop pressure >
    ride.
