    Course | La Tierra Torture

I don't know anything more than what I saw here. Looks like the long singletrack section runs the same as last year but some of the other stuff is changed a bit.

Wow that looks weird. It looks like we are all headed down the road rather than what I believe we have done in years past which is take a sharp left at the top of that rise and head towards marker "26". Am I wrong about this? I am getting old yanno!

The starting area is down by the Unity Church this year, not far from where the short track races started. This year's course only crosses the pipeline road used for the start in prior years. There are some new sections of trail that haven't been used before. It'll be fun!

Thanks... I guess I was all turned around on the map! Looking forward to what has to be one of the best XC Races in NM!

I rode the course yesterday, I think the layout is great. It's a nice twist on the same great trails, fast and fun. Well done Torture Crew!

Yup, that is one fast course. Hard to believe it's climbing over 110'/mi. Excellent trail selection, in excellent condition.
