I loved the screenshot. Two tabs for kegging equipment, one for MTBR, one for the weather. You've got your priorities straight.

I've started looking for a 15.5 gallon Sanke keg as I want to use one for a new fermenter project. If someone's got one hanging around, I'm willing to barter for it.

Seems pretty easy to come by. Is that just a normal keg? Sitting around near every restaurant I just checked out. No soda kegs though. I would also be into trading for a 5 gal. soda keg if anyone has one of those.

They cost the brewery about $300 new. You can find them used for $40-$70 or more depending on how good condition they are in.

Scored a co2 tank today with a working regulator. Literally fell of a truck. Was on the road bike, saw it on the side of the road went back and got it and brought to my favorite gas guy.

    Great day on the bikes!

Otero was in great shape. Sweet tackiness! Got to test ride a Turner Highline and it was eye-opening! I really thought that I had my RFX dialed, but the HL was that much more confidence inspiring.

We hit the Mars court shuttle w/3btls option. knob and delnorte were dialing in the the logs. The rest of the crew were just enjoying the amazing weather.

Thanx everyone (mtbike52, Sean, knob, delnorte, pcupach, and James). Looks like we got last licks...again

    You've Got the Blues

No Poseurschmidts were injured in the course of this ride.

Logs were ridden to the skinny end

    Double in the woods

    Santa Fe'ns too

    And the locals

    Log ride

    Woodsy shot

    More tasty rocks

    And not so tasty logs

    Easy as butter

Blasting tunnel in the final sun

With a zig-zag in the shade at the end

Awesome, awesome day fellas. It was a great crew and perfect riding conditions & terrain. I needed a big XC day with great features along the way & you guys served it up in spades. I wanna come back & do it again!
Good to ride with James & Chupacabra again. It's been too long. I wish Crash was there to spice up the carnage photos! I think yesterday was the first time I've racked myself in a couple years. I forgot how slow a man comes back to his senses after such unfortunate circumstances.
Bruce really lit up the logrides for sure. Bryan sent the Highline on a SUPER STEEP babyhead & scree-filled descent that was as smooth as anything I've seen. Go ahead & pull the trigger on that bike, Bryan... it has you name all over it.

I'd say we have a couple more good weeks or even a month to ride some more. We'll make a bigger bang still, amigo.

Crux, that b&w came out great! It sure was weird to see the way it was standing there after the fire. That jump is smooth, I wonder who built it ?

I did not think the B&W was actually going to turn out.

That section of trail really flows. That jump really tied the trail together.

Don't know who built it, but thanks.

    RichardinLA Rocks!!

Thanks to RichardinLA the Greg de Taos house will have beer on tap starting this weekend. I thought I was going to wait, but the porter is going on tap! If anyone is up in the North Country on Sunday come by and try it out!!

Oh yeah and the Ski Valley got another 8 inches yesterday with more on the way. I think SBT may be tough going for the rest of the year. Let the skiing begin!

    Short Fairy Tale:

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?' The
girl said, 'NO!' And the guy lived happily ever after and rode

bicycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot
and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left
the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    The end
