You mean,avoid the 3 inch step-ups and 2 inch step-downs,is more accurate.

So where is a good chunky and techy ride within 30 miles or so of Albuquerque that is not covered with snow and is ridable this weekend?

And at Hawes you get all your shiit stolen out of your car lol
Tie two birds together and though they have four wings, they cannot fly!

Chunky enough, tho. Good stoke. I personally think you messed up on that ride and should have taken a break at minute 6:06…. You let me down, Ramon!!!!!
Thx for the stoke. Wished we had a south mountain in south foothills

We don't got a south mountain but we got some similar "scenery" esp in the north foot hills

I ended up riding the most chunky and techy parts of the Placitas Trails I could think of, while staying out of the wilderness.
I looked at doing Los Lunas and decided I should start early enough that I could take the train to Los Lunas. And I should do it on a Saturday so if I miss the 6 pm northbound train to get back home, there is an option of catching a later train. I think I will plan on doing it next Saturday.
The Los Lunas trails are only a few miles from the Los Lunas Railrunner station.

Using the rail runner definitely cuts down the possible options.
