    Heading up to Taos

I will have one morning to ride up in Taos next weekend. I am used to high desert rock and chunk here in Tucson, and I do like a challenge. Any suggestions as to what might be a good trail to hit for maybe a 3 hour ride? I am staying in town there...

If you move at a good clip you can do the South Boundary from Valle Escondido in 3 hours(ish). I might be willing to meet you if you want company.

Looks pretty nice from what I can find online... one description shows the trailhead being close to town on the 64, is that worth doing? Maybe my wife could drive me out to Valle Escondido and I can ride back to town? It's a little hard to find good directions!

Yeaa, getting your wife to drop you off at Valle Escondido would be ideal and you can do the ride and finish at town for the most part. Unless you have a GPS track or someone who knows it with you it might be tough to navigate.I could do that ride Sunday if you are riding Sunday and want company. Otherwise, have a great ride and visit to Taos.

Let me see how it pans out. Sunday morning might be good for me!

Change of plans and I will not be riding there this weekend. Thanks for the help meanwhile, hopefully next time!
