    Going Over The Bars

I'm thinking of riding Pajarito on Saturday, 16th August. That normally means I'll be flying over the bars *at least* once.

Anybody want to join in the fun?

I won't but some of the others might be interested. I know Bruce isn't going to be up there until Saturday morning either.

*Team Transition* will be in effect

Just jokin' about the team...but Jason and Daniel and I will for sure be there both days! We're kayaking the Racecourse Friday if anyone wants to join (PM me).
Can't wait to get back out on the mountain--oh, and I really like "Paj-ma-hall"....
    Go huck yourself.

To assist you in going over the bars

notaknob, Rich decided to build an entire new trail just to help you go over the bars . It's not named yet but I was thinking "LA-Line". It starts where Natural Selection (another new trail) crosses the jeep road and heads further west. The jumps and berms are coming out really nice and only 5/8 of the trail is finished. Here's a few pictures I took tonight with my phone. The black & white model's name is Whistler (guess what he's named after ).

Only in Los Alamos is trail building measured to the 1/8 in completion percentage.

I didn't see any Bandoleros up here today but I guess if I lived in ABQ and watched the weather report I wouldn't have come either. We ended up having an epic day! Lots of layed back riders, tunes & Marble Brewery beer in the lodge, and only a 1/2 hour shutdown for one thunder boom (it was perfect timing for our 12pm lunch break). We also had a sweet jump session around 4pm. The trails were a bit wet but made it really tacky towards the end of the day. Make it up tomorrow if you can!

We saw everything! We were second guessing our decision when we saw the view atop SF.

I am pooped, but for sure the next calendar event you can count me in.

I am seriously glad that everyone had a good time, see you in a few weeks.
