What time are you guys headed up there on Friday? Is the weekend lift pass included on the race registration?

Not sure yet. If Ben can get out of school early we may head up at noon to get a few practice runs in at the end of the day (probably 3-5pm after race registration). I'm not too worried about practice since we'll be racing all day Sat though. We're staying at the lodge at the base.

I couldn't find anything on the website about Friday tickets . At most races you have to buy non-race-day tickets but they're usually discounted to something like half price. They did say that Sunday tickets are half price for their "Final Descent Freeride Day".

That is what I remember from previous races there. I'm prepared either way, thanks the The Sac

We will be up there all day Friday. We scored a condo

Looks sweet. I have had an health issue this summer, and have only ridden twice.
Things are looking up tho, and I will probably be out at the mesas' this winter.

Good luck, tho...FWIW, seems like I'm constantly fighting some medical dilemma these days.

    Keep in touch

Good work on the trails B! It's good to have a guy like you building trails, who "see's" more options than just a singletrack. Thanks for the trailwork!

man, the trail feature looks very cool, what's the size - like four inches?

    Seriously though, good looking stuff.

That video teaser? Nutz. I'll be happy the day I nut-up and clear ANY table / double - but man the Flight Skilz are excellent.

It's a matter of perspective or Do You Have the Balls???

Well, the way I see it and the way you see it are very different. The pics are a little decieving.

Whomever built this thing , I think had the intention of coming out of a tight berm into a 3-4' gap/step down to the rock feature you see. What is not obvious in the picture is that you can easily roll the rock to about a 3' drop or you can gap the rock (about 8'-9') to the 3' step down. Although, by the time you hit the drop you should already be about 2-3' in the air, which makes the drop closer to 6'. All this and it's narrow and very technical hip out. I haven't hit the rock gap...it's sceery
