See below for info on the upcoming/current Plan Revision Work and Public Meetings:
The Cibola National Forest is revising the forest plan for the 4 mountain districts (Sandia, Manzano, Mt Taylor, and Magdalena). Our draft assessment report, the first phase of plan revision, is currently up on our website and ready for public review (Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands - Planning). During the month of May we will be hosting a series of public meetings to discuss the findings of the assessment and the preliminary needs for change to the existing forest plan. In June we will be hosting a series of collaborative work sessions during which we want the public, users of the Cibola National Forest, to sit down with one another and with the Forest Service and share what they want to see for the future of the Cibola.
Is this something that interests you? If so, please drop us a line at email@example.com and we will add you to our email list so that you may stay apprised of upcoming plan revision activities. We look forward to working with you!
See attached pdf for the public release as well as public meeting locatinos/dates.
