Kelly's is possibly the worst beer + food place I have ever been, and it's expensive! They would be long gone if they didn't have a patio. Patios (for some reason) make any establishment golden in ABQ.

I was glad to see my side of the world represented with Turtle Mtn. Thier Hoptimus Prime IPA has a kick. But I have to say that La Cumbre should of been on there also if only for the Elevated. Another good IPA is Tractor beer from Los Lunas.

New brewery opening soon(ish). Looks like they are having a SuperBowl party even though they are not officially open yet:
Boar's Nest Brewery - Albuquerque, New Mexico
Looks like they may never open based on that donation page. They need to hit $40k for their "investor" to kick in and are barely over $10k? Sounds weird.

At least they are 25% of the way.
I had their beers at the ABQ Hopfest back in Oct, and they are pretty darn good. They will be a welcome addition to the Burque (when/if they ever open).
Another brewery that was supposed to open this comming fall is Goathead Brewery, but there hasn't been any updates on their website for months. The owner/brewer makes some great stuff (Hop Sodomy IPA, and Maple Shade Stout).

Here's a google map I made showing the locations of breweries in the ABQ area. I need to add a 'coming soon' for the Broken Bottle Brewery. Their location will be 9421 Coors Blvd. NW
A World Beer Cup medal is one of the most prestigious forms of recognition brewers can receive, and this year two ABQ breweries brought medals back to the 'Burquè:
I can say without any hesitation, Albuquerque brewers can give any city in the country a run for it's money. What we lack in quantity, we have in both variety and quality. Hops? I tasted nothing that was any better than any of the IPAs and DIPAs that this town is kicking out... (lots more)
