    Angelfire Stoke...

Not sure what the deal is for opening weekend, but can't wait to get up there. This is from a couple years ago, hopefully someone has some keen stuff from last season to spice this thread up a bit as my footage is not so hot...

I don't have any stoke, but am stoked. Who is going up when?
And would anybody be looking at doing South Boundary when they do go up, or is it too early for that?

Winter Park - Angel Fire - Pajarito

Didn't have anything for AF only but here's some from the best three areas around (WP-AF-Paj). It's all footage of me following my daughter Michelle last summer:

Oh I thought that was your wife. I was stalking her
Actually I thought it was the other video you did where you were pinning it alone
Heres a slow Ziggy video. Not too exciting

Hell yeah! I'll be up there with my wife and kids for a week from June 29th- July 5th.....Then on to Durango. Yes, there will be beer drinking and downhilling (not in that order). Also bringing the trail bikes and we want to hit the South Boundary trail for the first time. Now that our son has his drivers license, thinking he could shuttle us to Taos, and we can ride back. It sounds a bit sketchy as I don't have a gps. Hoping we can make it happen anyhow!

    Thanks for the stoke!!

What's the current conditions down there? Will the upper trails be good for next weekend's opening?

Ok, here goes... don't shoot the messenger.
My buddy Dave, who's good buddies w/ Hogan, the AF bike park top dawg, says that Hogan said things are clear & good up there, as of this weekend. My other buddy, said his buddy, who currently works for Hogan up in AF, says there is snow on some of the upper trails. I bet things will be fine this weekend and anything that's not open, isn't open for good reason. It's AF, so there's no shortage on good terrain!
There you go... a non-conclusive, bullsh!t answer. What more can you expect (especiallly w/o pics) before opening day?

I'm being optimistic and thinking this is perfect for hero dirt instead of dry powder. will be warm the rest of the week and this looks thin.

along with the rest of the gravity-minded coloradans, I'll be coming down for Sat & Sun.... praying for a fast melt and hero dirt! So excited!

Name is Paul, riding a bright yellow covert, don't be a stranger - we'll be camping, riding, beer-drinking all weekend long
