    Angel FIre late season conditions

Has anyone ridden Angel Fire bike park in October? Up in colorado our hills got the first dusting of snow just after closing day. I know we can't predict the weather, but looking to get some input on the weather down there this time of year. I hope to get down there and bang out some laps before winter takes over.

Yesterday were the best conditions they've had all season. Last night they got snow too but it will probably by the end of the day. I've raced the Redbull Final Descent in mid October three years and two out of the three were perfectly dry. The last one I raced they had snow on the upper 1/3 of the course. It's basically hit or miss with the storms so just check the weather reports and the webcams they have at the top and bottom of the mountain. In general they get snow a lot later than the northern CO ski areas. They'll close if they get too much snow though.
