    Alien Run Part II

Rode Alien Run near Aztec last weekend. It's a fun and scenic trail. We got 12 hours of rain the day before so a lot of the trail felt like fly paper. The sand stone formations and views are very cool and look a lot like El Malpais National Monument. If you're on your way up to Durango, it's worth riding since it's only a few miles off 550.

Sweet... What day were you out there? After this Durango was too wet for the Desert Dwellers we thought Alien might be good for Sunday. Of course the weather did not cooperate.

I rode Saturday afternoon. Sunday would have been worse since there was even more rain all of Saturday night.

NFH or North course? I'm game for either.

Can you get out of work early tomorrow afternoon? If so, we can go hit the rocks in the NFH and try for a 1st ever zero dab run.

Some DH in the E. Mtns Saturday sounds like fun, eh?

    Forgot to add...

On the way up to Alien Run in Aztec, you drive through Bloomfield. About 10 miles south of Bloomfield off 550 is a sign that says Angel Peak Scenic Area. Drive about half a mile and you get this...

NFH's? We got all winter to do that stuff, but I was think more east Mts. You still got the Big Hit? I think I am ready for the double jumps (1 & 3) in the super X area again

Ok, I'm game for some DH tomorrow and Saturday. 1 + 3? You are fast and furious.

I sold the BH, but I still have that black DH SS HT with a 180mm fork. I put on some white Azonic Outlaw wheels and it looks pretty cool. Not as plush as the BH, but still fun.

So can you get out of work early tomorrow? If so, all we need is B-MANN and his teal truck.

Rats, I drove right by there Sunday and almost pulled over for a picture... almost. I had no idea the view was that good, nice shot.

Them's some nice photos. Looks like the alien run would have some excellent sun-rise or sun-set photo opportunities.
