To whoever built the little rock jumps on the Yellow trail at Ramapo...

Thanks! I was going too fast and went right by the first couple, but hit the last one. Tons of fun.

Where are they at and more importantly...do you think they will stay around? Illeagal trail features tend to get dismantled after a few weeks, especially on hiking trails (which I think the Yellow Trail is).

I wonder if Irene put them in place. It saw some parts that were smoothed over from Irene and others that were destroyed.

I doubt it. They definitely look man-made. They are maybe 10 seconds (depending on fast you ride) down from the start of the fireroad-ish downhill of the Yellow Trail close to the top.

I'm pretty sure it's a trail that's predominantly used for hiking, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them taken down eventually. Oh well.

I had some man made jumps on a horse trail I ride near me...taken down in just 3 days. Lol those did not last long.

Okay I think I know where you mean. JORBA did a re-work there a while ago. They did a kick ass job too.

That new switchback section is fun, but I wish that we could still ride the old one. I realize that the re-route was prob done to prevent further erosion on the old section, but it was just so darn fun to blast down over those waterbars
