    Hey Phat

I'll join you on the Allamuchy ride Saturday. Not sure if I can make the Skyline ride yet but I'll know better tomorrow. Can't wait, weather should be perfect. See you there.

Great ride today. Here is a substitute photo for the ride from last season.

Phat is as bad as me - I never want to stop for photos either

Maybe I'll make skyline tomorrow and convince everyone else to come, Wildcat doesn't sound that great from what everyone else said today.

Hey when we were talking about the Lefty this weekend, this is the USE fork I was talking about, looks like they make a 80mm 29er fork now too:

2 great rides and 2 beautiful days!

I just about crawled back to my house from skyline on sunday. Luckly the CB only goes down in to Pompton, then its about 4 miles to my house. I was never was so happy to have a grannie gear.

    Again great ride!

    Bruised, but not broken...

Great ride, never would have made it without granny...First time riding at Ringwood, I would have to say it is one of the best in NJ.
    Thanks for organizing

thanks for taking me out - i obviously gotta get the bike handling up and the legs back from a seriously long desk-job winter. tough place for me - you guys really tore it up. i think im gonna hang at the sourlands down by me to get used to that kind of riding before i head back there.

My friends from Ithaca decided to ride Prompton on Sunday. I didn't get advanced warning (they posted the ride Saturday night), but this weekend they said they might ride Fell Mtn which has been rerouted around the logging - one of my favorite trails in the NE (along with Prompton).

I highly recommend both Fell or Prompton - you guys should come along if we go this weekend - its definitely worth the trip!

This place has a lot of variety - it does have technical trails comparable to them but it does have pine forest trails too. It has better flow than the ramapo/ringwood ride - I think you would enjoy it.
