Trail Access issues at the Tourne: meet, greet and ride

    Riders,

Ryan and Greg (of Morris Trails Partnership/JORBA) will be available at the Tourne lower lot at 8:30-9:00am this Saturday (Sep Cool to meet with you and discuss the recent developments at the Tourne.

We know it's short notice, but feel it's important to begin getting to know each other, engaging in dialogue, and discussing potential solutions/approaches. As indicated in Greg's posts, there are some near-term and longer-term implications at stake too, which Greg and Ryan will be sharing in detail. We realize this is short notice, but whomever can make it, please stop by. Greg will be leading a ride after the discussion, so bring your bike!

If you are concerned about the recent developments at the Tourne and want to fully understand the issues at stake you owe it yourself to attend this event.

For those that can't make it, we can always hold a follow up discussion later in the month too.

Hmm, maybe I will show up for this. I am sure to piss a few people off, but I feel what they are doing at the Tourne is way off base.

    be there.

give Greg a chance to explain things, hear him out then I am sure he'll make things clear.

and don't focus on logs getting cut out. its a strawman. we stand to lose a boatload more than a few logs if the actions of a few continue.

    What's happening at the tourne

    Hey,

What are the issues at the Tourne? I grew up there and am only back in the area from time to time for a visit, but I love the park and would really like to know what is going down.

    Thanks

thorpe, ytc, glancingaft, and the rest of the folks that came out. thanks for spending some time meeting up with Greg and Ryan. Greg seemed to think that it was a positive experience and gave me a brief recap on the phone today.

If anyone else would like to do this again, Greg asked me if I could organize a similar event in a few weeks to cover the same ground for others that were not there. Weekend of Sep 29th/30th is a possibility.

Drop a reply here if there's any interest.
