    Maybe this

Allaire State Park: Allaire Village and Pine Creek Railroad will reopen on Saturday, November 17th. The camping and picnic areas remain closed as do the trails.

Yep....Kirt is right. Allaire remains closed due to dangerous conditions in the trails. Sandy took down plenty on her own and then Athena(? Snow storm) dumped nearly a foot of wet snow in the area. There are a lot of widowmakers out there so please heed the warnings and stay out of the park until further notice. Once we can get a crew in and remove the trees, we will post an update. Thanks

It really is for your own safety. I've spoken to a few cavalier people who've said that they went out and rode at Allaire/Hartshorne/Huber. Riding is a bit of a stretch...most places have trees down every hundred to couple of hundred feet, some leaning, some waiting to fall at a gust of wind.

Remember, as hard as it is for you to get out there, suppose the emergency medical crew needs to reach you.
