Greetings fellow Mountain Bikers;
I wanted to send out this email to see if any of the Mountain biking community has interest in starting a Mountain Bike Patrol/Trail Stewards in your local parks, or if you know any local bike patrols in your local parks. I will list below the known patrols in New Jersey. I am interested to see if anyone would be willing to join a local patrol or start a new patrol in your areas, the patrols can be the eyes and ears for your local park rangers/Land Managers. You can assists in trail cleanups, volunteer for search and rescue of lost or injured riders and trail users. The initial Patroller class is free to all; the medical training will be an additional cost as is the NMBP fees paid to IMBA for the NMBP Patroller Program. For more information on that please visit the following link http://www.imba.com/nmbp/index.html
If you would like to be involved in a current patrol or are interested in starting a patrol in your local park, Please visit this link

and drop me and IM or an Email with your contact information.
