Idea! Looking for buddies/partners to go mountain bike on the weekends (07302)

I live in Jersey City in front of the Hudson River. Looking to go to trails up to 2 hours driving radius. I'm very close to Holland tunnel. If you live in the area we can car pool.

    Available for the weekends.

I've a truck that fits 3 people and 3 bikes.

I'm a beginner but always pushing harder. My trail count is low but I'm doing about 1.5 trails per weekend and trying to get more experience. Just got a new bike and want to put some good miles on it.
I've always been into practicing sports.

We can use something like this to share the schedule:

    Hello Aedubber,
I've got a Trek Cobia and I'm up for any trail.
Saturday mornings sound fun. I'm traveling this next one but I will be up the next.
For today I'm fixing my bike. Do you have a contact or email so we can keep in touch ?

Pretty sure Lewis Morris is County Park, which is not part of state hunting.

I might take you up that offer pretty soon. I live in JC also and been mostly on the road bike for past few years. I would like to mix it up with some MTB again.

Stoked, let me know when you're up. Last Saturday Hartshorne was really nice.

I'm in Trenton, NJ but don't mind driving a bit for a good bike ride. I'm a beginner with about 100miles on my bike. I own a Specialized Hard disc 29.

Hey Phatman, whats the closest trail to you ? I've been going everywhere, from Harsthorne to Dickerson.
Let me know and let's schedule a ride.

I really don't know of many trails around here. I just started getting into biking not too long ago so I am just learning about whats around. I live about 15mins from Mercer County Park if that helps.

I looked up info on the 6 mile run and it looks sweet! I'll probably be heading down there with my girlfriend and a friend of mine on Memorial Day.

I live in Bayonne. I have a very erratic schedule, and typically weekdays work better for me.

I've been riding for 23 years but at 38 am not in the best of shape anymore.

If you're doing a ride, email me and I may be able to go

I'll be back in jersey by the beginning of August. I'll probably be in the Middletown area. I'm down to ride, hopefully Wednesdays and Sunday's. I'm also down to ride with people, just a pre warning, I suck at climbs, Florida doesn't have very many hills.
    Cheers

No worries. I can pretty much handle myself on the bike but I'm pretty slow and as said before can't climb. I'll pm you when I get to NJ and figure out what my schedule will be.
    Cheers
