New question here. gettin' around the tourne?

hey all you tourne riders, eyes got a question...

i was at the tourne yesterday, and i felt kinda clueless about getting around. i found some singletrack - and what i found was good... but the only way i could link up the singletrack was going on those gravel trails that run through the park. is there a way to ride mainly singletrack there without hitting the gravel trails, or do you always end up running out of the woods onto the gravel trails?

    Tourne Maps

There are some available at the east entrance kiosk. I know there's a red trail on the west that's singletrack w/o gravel rocks and runs from north to south(Tourne<-> Mountain Lakes) The side trails head to either the main gravel trail or people's property

You can squeak out 10-12 miles at the park but you do need to be creative (do some trails in both directions to link loops together) and yes you will hit gravel access roads in spots.

    woohoo

hopefully no tornadoes this time. bringing the bike again tho - considering all the 'freetime' i get, i figured i should try to have some fun.

did i tell ya when i hit the tourne, i did some work on the fanny scraper traverse? it kicked my a$$. pulled a little 14 foot slab problem tho.

you have any time for riding this weekend?
