    favorite loop at Lewis Morris

I've been riding the yellow trail, which is a lot of fun. I'd like to go exploring but I don't want to end up on fire roads or dead ends. What's your favorite loop?

i have a bunch of variations - i could go on forever with this...

my favorite way lately has been to start at sunrise pond, hop into the yellow trail on the right, follow it up to the orange and take orange down to green. turn right on green (you'll have to be on the fireroad for a little), and turn right, and pick up red (turning left at the uphill). i follow red up to the fireroad again (just a little) then i follow yellow from the top of the fireroad, cross the parking lot, and follow yellow/red combinations out to sunrise again.

then of course i'll cross the street and do the boat loop for some extra.
i spurt in the wind, and the wind drug it

You're always going to hit some fire roads, your best bet is to take the smaller loops off the yellow trail.

I'm heading out there at around 4-5 today if you want to ride some.

it's pretty short - but i think its a nice add-on. its a touch more gnarly than the rest of LM, which is a nice change of pace.
