    BellePlain SF, Cape May County

Anybody ridden this system recently and have a conditions report? Also, does the system see any traffic/group rides or regulars, who could give me some info?

I am spending the summer weekends down in Cape May and was psyched to find Belleplain on the JORBA site. It doesn't have a conditions report though.

    Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Give Belleplain a day to drain after a hard rain and its good.

Email Al for most current info, belleplain AT jorba.org

Check the Belleplain forum on mtbnj.com Belleplain State Forest - mtbNJ.com

You could also give Mojo Bike Shop in Vineland a call. They occasionaly have Saturday morn rides there. Mojo Bicycle Shop

I know a bunch of work was done on it about this time last year but I haven't heard anything recently. With that said I've never ridden it. Most of what I hear is that the trails are ok but the ticks are insane. I'm in Cape May about every other weekend during the summer so I'll probably try to get over there in the next few weeks.

ok so i got my own skinny, set out this morning from 347 on east lake trail, 5 min heard gunfire, turned around and got my orange on, went back out ran into some hunters, duck variety, they told me it was duck season and i shouldn't have to worry much deer is not in, so i set out picked up 2-3, then over to 1-2-3, and finished up with 3, man i love these trails, all covered with fresh pine needles, f'n awesome, i know i've said it before but a huge thanks to all that put the work in on these trails, oh yeah i kept my orange on just in case
