Baldpate Mt
I know a buddy of mine has ridden there. Can't find any reviews on MTBR. Is riding legal there? Any suggested place to park? Routes? Thanks.

The place is great, let me know if you want/need a guide any of these weekends. I live at the bottom of washingtons crossing park, and you can link up both parks for a good 8-10 mile ride by crossing one road.
Cheers, Rob.

Highly recommend connecting baldpate to the greenway trail that goes over to 518, cross 518 and into the water company trails. The greenway trail is one of the best in the area.

Yes please explain. I've risen baldpate a few times. My LBS does night rides there every so often. (I've never gone) I knew you could link up Washington xing but I did not know about this green way trail or crossing 518.

Bucks county bikes. By pennsbury highschool in levittown. I actually don't know if they have a ride through the bike shop or if the guys that work there just go out and ride it themselves.

It's a sloppy mess right now because of the warm weather... luckily it's supposed to freeze up on Friday so it should be good to go.+
I would ride in the morning if you can so you can hit it before it thaws.
As STB posted previously, linking the Greenway and water company trails to BP is full of win!
what time were you thinking to ride?

We rode it last Sunday and met a guy that offered to show us around. Some really nice sections. I'm surprised there's no reviews here on it.
I'm not sure how to link up Greenway or teh water co. trails. Is it easy? Is it connected to the power line trail?
Like I said, it was nice, but it'd be better if it were longer to justify the 50 min drive. How long a ride is just the BP part?

I'll PM you my typical Baldpate loop (It won't let me post it here)
It's relatively easy to link the Greenway and Water Co trails once you figure it out. they all pretty much border each other. the best I could give you is GPS data though ;-)

Thanks, man. I'll post when I get a chance to ride it. Hopefully you can give us the grand tour.
Anyone know why BP isn't in the trail review forum?

Bike Ride Profile | Aug 26, 2012 Baldpate near Hopewell Township | Times and Records | Strava
ignore the short in/out track on the left side, it's a dead end ;-)
let me know if you want a GPX file...

I'd be happy to if the schedules work out... I'm riding the Water co and greenway trail tomorrow morning :-)
No idea why BP is not on the review forum...
Lots of info on MTBNJ. That's where I usually hang.
BTW, I have 10 posts now

Thanks for that Michael. Call me stupid, but I'm not getting where the water co and greenway trails are. MTBNJ have more info?
Thanks again.

Oh, you didn't say you wanted the water co trails. That was just Baldpate.
Not much on MTBNJ for the greenway or water co...they are relatively new.
I'll send you a PM

Would you mind sending me that map as well. I've been to baldpate a few times, but haven't find a nice long loop that doesn't require backtracking. Thanks.
NVM, I saw the strava. I'm also from allentown. If you ever need a riding partner, especially close by at like clayton, feel free to PM me.
