    Allamuchy Downed Tree Thread

Ok if you are out and about this week post them up!!! We, JORBA, will be starting to cleanup the blow down from Irene this week.

If you are going to post something up please include the following if you can:
    - which section of the park;
    - clear details on where the tree(s) are; and
    - approximate diameter of the tree (so we know how big a saw to bring)

The plan right now is to start cleaning things up after work tomorrow.

    Thanks,

    Bob

ps - no trees/logs that have been previously used as trail features will be removed during this effort!

All of these are big trees (or least lots of brush)

White trail, tranquility side, two down on ride up first climb, first near where trail was routed to side and then towards the top not too far from el pozo de jacob trail

friggin middle, near end of it going in the direction of the boy scout camp

purple trail, not sure what you call it, but it might be cardiac, but its the top section climb, right before it starts to climb again

purple trail, double track, not too far from the middle trail (the one to the 80 side of the white)...going in direction towards 80 it would be a little past the middle.

That's all i got to ride, so I don't know about other trails.

Trails were in good shape otherwise, I didn't see any washouts really.

    trees

So far we have gotten to most of the trees of the trees from the around the lake in DP, and a bunch in the North Section. There are stil those big ones that will have to wait a bit, but they will be gone in the near future.

    Thanks for the info!

Rode the Wavin Willy route last week. I was impressed by the trail status.
