Riding in Tahoe
I am looking to come ride in and around Tahoe in the first week of June. I typically come to Tahoe for snowboarding every year, but have the opportunity to come out in June this time. Does anyone from the area have any insight on where to ride, bike rentals, etc? Im only really familiar with the Stateline area. Any direction would be great.
June still might be a bit early for the upper elevations depending on where you ride and what type of riding you are looking for. Post in the NorCal forum as more than half the rides in Tahoe are more CA based then NV. I know that driving around the lake this weekend that there was still snow present at Spooner Lake which means that the trails up to the Flume and Hobart/Marlette are all covered.
You might get lucky with stuff lower like Emigrant Trail, Powerline, or the like. Still some great riding in and around Carson City/Reno if the stuff up there is snowed in.

I ride allot in the Reno/Tahoe area, send me a PM before you come. Its a low snow year, so who knows what will be open. Depends how warm the next two months are.
There will be riding......Gary
after lastnight its hard to say. had plans to hike to churches pond tomorrow but debating another option now.
