UPDATE: There is A LOT of trail maintenance and new approved projects in the works. The Poedunks have been working very hard to plan and accomplish an incredible amount of activity this year!
There will be plenty of trail crew vole enter days to help out local trails.
Check MTBR Nevada forum and poedunks Facebook pages for new details starting February......

    UPDATED.....Monday Feb. 17th 2014 trail day.

Monday is Presidents Day. It is often celebrated nationally by going skiing. If you're not skiing or your pass is blacked out, let's do some trailwork! Multiple projects are approved and new trail construction on Peavine is starting this weekend and will continue, weather permitting, every weekend until the end of March to allow use of new trails for the Battle Born Enduro on June 7. Join us Monday, February 17, meeting at 9am at the "Middle Keystone" Trailhead. This is the dirt road to a small dirt parking area located off Leadership Parkway between East Keystone and West Keystone Trailheads. If you are not driving a high clearance vehicle, do not drive down the dirt road. It would be best to park in the East Keystone parking lot and walk the 1/4 mile up to the middle keystone area. We will be building a new trail to replace an existing and poorly designed illegal trail. The trail day will end around noon-ish, but bring a lunch if you plan on working longer, a few of us will be. Beers and snacks provided. Please wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, and long pants and bring water, gloves and eye protection.
