Good job! Getting back into the swing of things...

I told myself in June when I started to slack off a bit that August would be my month to hit it hard. I need to get back to where I was two months ago. So starting tomorrow or tonight after I eat my B-Day cake my wife made me. I will be back to eating well riding hard and hitting the gym like I was a couple of months ago.

Did you see who's coming on this trip? I'm the least of your worries on the climb.

    good to hear

I am a month behind you. It seems the past few years i taper off in July and then August is the worse. However i keep the "core" miles up by riding Mt. charleston on the road bike through the summer to keep the MOTIVATION ALIVE> .I have been hitting it every week so far since June. \P.S.- only a few weeks to start training for cactus cup!

Man I wasn't feeling it today. What a difference it is going from 3-4 rides a week to 1 maybe 2 rides a week. I need some work!

I really need to do more than one ride a week. Couple months ago I could keep up with the PMF social ride pace, now I'm dying out there. Its really the heat that keeps me indoors so much.

No Cactus Cup this year. It's right at the top of the page:

Note: Due to economic concerns, the 2009 Edition of the Cactus Cup has been postponed until September 17-19, 2010.

Guess that also means there will be East and West, but no national champion in the pro XC series this year?
