Where is the turn off for these new single track trails? I shattered my collar bone and broke my hand on new years eve and haven't been able to ride any trails since then! This weekend sounds like it may be my first time back on the bike off road and would love to hit these trails up.

Oh yeah, just wanted to give you guys some props, I love BBT, never had a bad ride out there!

Just have to give props to the all those responsible for BBT. I'm from San Diego and just got back from an awesome bike trip to Vegas with 5 friends. Rode BBT Friday morning. The flow is very nice and just enough technical features to keep you honest. Nicely groomed and well maintained. It was a blast to ride. Great work!

Park on the service road off of town ctr, just past the abandoned condos. Take the road up to the top of the flood basin. You'll see the singletrack from there. After you cross all three bridges, stay right at the next intersection, you wouldn't want to miss "The Ledge". Enjoy

Or better yet park by Las Vegas Cyclery and ride the short distance to BBT.

Thanks Knoob, Blade-Runner. That was a fun trail to play around. Kudos to the trail builders in maximizing the land. Kinda reminds me how we do it in the east coast when we have limited land.

Does anyone have an elevation profile of BBT?
Alcohol may lead nowhere, but it sure is the scenic route!

Cool . . . well if it ends up that we rent the place we applied to today, then I will be less than 2 miles from the trailhead, on the same side of the 215 so I could very easily ride right there from home - which is HUGE for me, as I have that luxury in L.A., and would like to be able to keep it!

After hearing all the good things about BBT I finally made my way over there from Boulder City and took a ride this morning. Pretty great trail with some technical stuff in there, but not too big of climbs that killed me, definitely winded me good, but still alive. I think I rode without the Your Mom section to dirt road as I only covered about 9 miles. I'll have to go back and do them next time. Great trail and good fun!

There's definitely more to see . . . I get around 15 good solid miles, including Your Mom. If you have lights and want to go one evening or on the weekend, lemme know.

Gotta get some lights, man . . . night riding is a blast. There's a group that goes every wednesday night to various spots around town. I try to make it when they are out on the westside, but they go to the south and to Bootleg too.

Rode BBT tonight and enjoyed it as much as I always have. I noticed someone painted some white arrows recently and they lead past the barb wired fence out into BLM land.

Any idea why the white arrows are there?

Whatever you do . . . do not follow them if you want to see the next day.

    I'm just kidding . . . I have no idea.

The RJ map (print edition) showed the development as everything North of Mesa park, South of the paved access road to the flood basin and everything West of Town Center to the BLM boundary.
