It looks good so far... It seems to be missing something, but I can't figure out what???

Hmmmm. Maybe I'm just not that used to seeing a sponsored bike, labeled that neatly.

Yeah, it looks like it should be a good all around bike for bashing around.

They're kinda old school, but the "horns" make sense in some cases.
You can use a shorter stem for descending, but have a forward position for climbing, or hammering along on the flats.

The funny thing is, when bar ends were popular, they didn't offer bars wide enough to really use most of them. Now, the market is full of 27 - 28" wide bars.

ye the barends came about after doing the odd xc race to train in the winter, i was rocking funn all mtn bars uncut, but felt i did not have the more agro position for climbs that i had back in the day when i raced with barends, so a few months ago i hunted some classic onza barends to see how it felt, cut the bars a little and im sold on them, as above, for a all mtn /hardcore trail bike they are a real good option, just looks a little odd as you dont see the about, maybe i can help them come cool again! lol

nice one man...is that a lyrik or a pike?? i blew out my old fork on the same frame last week and just ordered a nice shiny new pike, and can't wait to get it on there. the bar ends do look a little funny, but if you are enjoying it then all the better.

The Tora would have been a nice option for the Rumble, but I wanted to both take advantage of a bit more travel for trail rides, but especially get the 20mm thru axle for stiffness out front for when I use it at the dirt jumps and racing DH in the hardtail cat. Stoked on the ability to service it easily too. I'll post a picture up once I put it on.

Thought I might add my Rumble to the mix...just put on a brand new RS Pike 454 Coil U-Turn and stoked to give it a run on the trail and at the bike park.

I am just using a pair of Specialized Enduro tires that i got new for $5 each at a garage sale. They work for me on the trail and at the bike park so I have no real complaints.
