    Project Moho

So I finally got around to Project Moho, and now I need some input. What color?? Also, I'm thinking of removing the vbrake bosses for a disc only setup, if I can do so safely.

    Here's a recent pic:

Don't be fooled, the paint was not in that great of shape, but the frame is. I have no intention of taking it back to "stock", mainly because all I have is a set of original "MOHO" stickers, but its such a rad frame I want to do a sweet color with the new style stickers (or none). Right now its bare alu, but I'm not a fan of the polished look.

    anodized would be sweet!

Is this the green you're talking about?

Frame currently (PITA getting the paint off):

Paints I have on hand right now...
    dark/deep metallic blue
    dark/deep metallic gray
    burnt orange/reddish metallic
    These are BC/CC car paints

The hardtail STS is pretty awesome. No complaints. I really wonder how many disc versions are out there, I've only seen two-this one and some random google image. I REALLY want the CXS, that new yellow one on eBay is really temping.

Anyway, Project Moho...I've been busy lately but I finally got it painted! I'll post pics soon. Let's just say its a pretty sweet shade of blue

    Listen!

cool! i was just about to post asking for an update .

can't wait to see it freshly painted.

would you do me a favour? could you weigh the bare frame for me please?

i'm just about to start a MOHO STS rebuild as well.

p.s. several years ago i asked MC about fitting rear discs and they've had adapters for non-disc frames on offer.

worth investigating (e.g. asking them again) if someone is seriously interested in fitting discs on their MOHO.

    hope this helps.

edit: aah, there are actually a couple of threads about it on here:

? for MC Re: Moho STS rear disc brake adapter?

well, theres been a some things come up. most notably, Project 1987 GT Performer and Project 1990 Proflex...that and during the final clearcoat my idiot assistant ruined the paint and will need to be stripped and repainted...seeing as im out of that blue paint, it will be something else.
