    Pikes for my Fury?

ive come to the conclusion that my magura menja air forks make my head angle to steap
they got about 4.5 to 5" travel.
even turning on slight downward paths trys to kick me over the bars or just slip the front wheel out
    .
the measurment from the crown race to the center of the quick release is just short of 20"
and from front QR to rear (wheelbase) is 44"

i see alot of peeps with pikes.. is it the 454? i dont want a pop lock thingy for my bars.
the lockout option on the fork is nice..as i have it on my menja,s but never realy use it
i think the extra travel on the pike might slacken the angle for me enough

can anyone with pikes please measure from top of crown/crown race area to the center of there axle and wheelbase for me please.
    many thanks

Internally, it has been said that Pikes are a good choice for the Fury.....

    I second that opinion.
I rode a Fury equipped with a Pike at Interbike last year and thought the head angle was good.

Are you using the Menja 100 or 130 ?
MC ran RS Pike 454 coil U-turn on all the Fury demos last season and will probably continue to this year. They are an awesome value. The adjust goes to 140mm and you can manually turn the lock out if you wish (that is how we do it). I do not have one currently to measure but later this week I should if there is no answer let me know and ill measure it for you.

RS Lists the Pike axle to crown at 517mm.

The Pike U-Turn will be my next fork too when I go back to a 20mm T/A

MC recommended to me that a Pike was the best fit for the fury.

I ended up going with a Lyrik as I wanted the ability to really slacken things out for a few descents at my local trails. I think the majority of the time I will have the travel set at similar to what the Pike offers.

hmmm from that measurment. there not much difference in lengh
i have noticed tho that there is a very slight backwards rake on the forks (there not inline with the steerer tube) there not bent. had them looked at by my mechy m8

ive heard that mc recomend these forks.. but just wanna make sure on everything before i push the "buy" butten
