    Mountain Cycle Slix! Who knows???

    Who Remember MC Slix?

I have a Slix frame, I was so pleased to ride on it, so when it was broken I didn't dispose from it (since I a material engineer I had a plan how to fix it, but was looking for the proper master)

I ride some time and find my self with a broken frame again

The first attempt to fix it failed, since the workshop didn't do as I requested, after it was broken once more I find that it was not welded as I ask.

Mean while, it was painted in a crazy style.

Second attempt dun again with better master and my supervision, now I riding again and hope that it will stand as a new.

    Attch pics. with explanation

    1. Slix from catalog
    2. Slix with crack after first fix
    3. Slix after second fixing

I had a MC csx, a black one, that cracked at that exact spot. It was a flat landing over clearing a fairly small double set, It immediately also cracked at the downtube right next to the moncoque front end. It was actually wuarenteed, there is an internal reinforcement in the seatube right where the rocker pivots, the welded pivots holds the sleeve inplace. That sleeve was not in the right spot, they sent me an orange csx that was supposedly made for the canadian market, i eventually broke off the deraileur mount, and retired it.
