Not exactly 100% true on the last one.

MC is a 100% US based Co. with it's parent Co. being Ideation.

So the parent company / owner of MC is a Taiwanese company .... But you are saying MC is 100% US based and it's own entity and operates in its shareholders interests.

Does that mean the current products are all designed and manufactured in the USA? Or are the parts sourced through the parent and then boxed / assembled in the USA?

http://www.ideation.com.tw/ has mountain cycle listed as though its their brand and their frames. Guess its partly a method to get their other brands into their target markets and MC is part of their strategic method.

    Yes.

Yes/or by 'Westerners', no (you can count those that do on one hand almost). Yes/depends, yes/depends.
