Help with San Andreas 2.0 and Zen II builds and set up

    Hey All,

It seems now that there are a fair few people grabbing the new San Andreas 2.0's and Zen II's. As many already know, unfortunately there is no official support or tech advice for these frames, despite the fact that they are 'new' to market.

If anyone out there would like some help or advice in setting these frames up, or have questions about them before buying, I am more than happy to help out, as are others I know that already heave the bikes running. You can find me (and others) at this Facebook fan group on most days.

    Happy trails.

    Cheers and beers.

    G

You really should get the RF rings. Only $80 here for both.

I'll second that. I got mine running with the stock praxis rings, but the 42 really is too big. The RF Turbines are perfect.

The mech I was using that worked with the 42 ring was a shimano XT E type (without the back plate), model number FD-M770-10. I also have the equivalent in SLX that worked as well.

Ask G.. though at the link he posted, he has the list of the parts (and model numbers) that were supposed to be spec'ed on the bike.
